Algebra: How To Graph a Line

We have learned three methods for graphing lines in Chapter 3 of Elementary Algebra:
  1. By plotting points.
  2. Using x- and y-intercepts.
  3. Using the slope and y-intercept.
It is important that we know how to quickly sketch the graph of a line using slope-intercept form:  y = mx + b.  However, the equation of the line may not be given in this form and you do not always get the x-intercept so easily.  The following video outlines the steps for graphing a typical line.
